Assets

The Assets section allows you to upload and manage media files for use across your site.

You can upload images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP), PDF documents and videos (MP4, MOV, WebM, Ogg). Each file can be up to 500 MB on every plan. Uploaded assets count towards your account's storage.

Images and videos in your assets can also be used in social posts.

To upload assets:

  1. Go to Content ---> Assets in the sidebar.
  2. Click the "Add new asset" button.
  3. You can either upload a file from your computer or cloud resource.
  4. To upload multiple files from your computer click on Upload file button. You can keep the name field blank in case if you are uploading multiple files otherwise for single file you can fill in the name field.
  5. To upload a file from third party resource or cloud hosted resource click on Upload using external url button. Enter the url.
  6. Click Save

To edit an asset

  1. Click on the Pen or edit icon
  2. Change the details/file
  3. Click save.

To delete an asset click on a Trash Icon.

An asset that is still in use can't be deleted. Garchi tells you where it is used (page sections, social posts, data items, or rich-text descriptions and section text), so you can remove it from there first.

Once an asset is uploaded you can then use it as a media file anywhere in your page section.

Images you paste or drag into a rich-text editor, in a data item's description or a section's rich-text field, are added to your assets automatically. They are saved as WebP, scaled down to fit within 2000 × 2000 pixels, and count towards your storage like any other upload.
